Today’s news is chilling,
About the Benghazi in Libya Ambassador and three others killing.

We all grieve,
Because it is hard to believe

That US diplomats everywhere,
Are not protected with care

America needs to understand
Believes are different then in this land

Anti American Riots in Cairo
We all know

Egypt has existed for 9000 years
And is not worthy of our tears

And at any rate,
They do not deserve our financial aid

Helping them to promote democracy
Is a fantasy

Free speech they will never understand
Because they have only experienced dictatorship in their land

We should leave them alone
And concentrate on problems at home

Imagine what locally could be made
With the money we spend on foreign aid

For which we receive no gratitude
But a frightening attitude

The leading Muslim brotherhood
For others does not much good

It is not funny
But all they want is our money

Let’s not wait for more knocks
And leave them alone in their sandbox

Because it might take 9000 years
With billions of dollars and tears

Teaching them our style
Will take longer then awhile

It is not our responsibility
To be their keeper into eternity

The middle east
Has been and will continue to be a dangerous beast

For sure a land
We will never understand

The USA is to young and immature
To offer a universal cure

To countries older then we
And much older then you and me

Democracy in the USA was the way since the start
and to expect it to work everywhere is not very smart

It is clear
We have had experience for only 200 year

It seems no formula for success
As the masses also here are getting less

Elected officials with the best intentions
Soon focus on their personal retentions

Their leadership does not last
Because they forget to remember the past

That they will provoke a revolution
If they lead without an acceptable solution

But they know like in nature the strongest will continue to lead
And have no scruples if to death we all bleed

And while our own anthems we are singing
Remember politics on earth have changed little since the beginning

Ours is a planet of haves and have not’s
Probably because we all pray to different Gods

But until everyone tolerates each others believe
We will have to deal with wars and grieve.
