In this luxury home on Blueberry hill.

Ski resort, we will stay for a week.

Around the fireplace we sit in comfortable chairs,
And, while having wine, catch up on each other’s affairs.

We had hoped for snow but it only rains!
At least we don’t need snow chains!

But through our windows we see…
There is more than enough snow on the slopes to ski

But some of us stay in…
And drink tea or another glass of vin!

This stay is food for our soul
A worthwhile investment for next years damage control.

Life is busy for the young generation
And I am glad I provide a place for an extra week’s vacation.

I want memories to last
As also their life will go by too fast.
