RHYMING
I rhyme,
At any given time,
A short story,
From my mental inventory.
For me it is imperative,
To often write a narrative.
Rhyming a story about the present or past,
I do very fast.
And sometimes I could use,
A different word then I choose,
But I want the focus to be on the “story” I relay
Not what a single word can say.
I say with tongue in cheek,
My verses are unique.
I am very keen,
On following my own routine.
My poems might not reflect,
To be perfect,
But they are designed,
To convey what is on my mind.
I do not rehearse
My written verse.
So, As of yet,
What you read is what you get.
