POSITIVE THOUGHTS
Some experiences are soothing for the core of ones soul
And some experiences leave a gaping hole
Every experience, good or bad
Makes you happy or sad.
We have little say
In what experiences come our way
It is a matter of we’re we are and when
And maybe it is often or only now and then
But as a whole
We do have some control
We can dwell on the negative and create drama day to day
Or we can concentrate on finding a way
To find a balance between good or bad
To experience a day which before we never had
A day of mental serenity
Within our own identity
And when we practice positive thoughts often
The impact of a bad experience will soften
