I married my first love in the Netherlands in 1963…
As happy as can be.

We decided to emigrate and therefore…
Came to the USA in 1964.

Life was exiting and we experienced many things that were new…
Until I suddenly became a widow in 1992.

In John’s memory…
I pioneered a business entity…

“Associated Home Health Nurses of America” was created
A successful company… well rated .

No thought of…if…or when
Meeting someone else again…

Until this wonderful widowed Dutch guy
Named Frans …fell out of the sky!

Captain Giuseppe Romano officiated the marriage to the second love of my mine…
On the Grand Princess on February 8 1999.

In the “Hearts and Minds” wedding chapel
And 63 guest including our children and grandchildren could tell…

He and me…
Were meant to be.

All our married guest renewed their wedding vows while afloat
On that Valentines day… officiated by the Captain of the first Love Boat

On our 5th Anniversary in February 2004
Again we repeated this ceremony on the Grand Princess like before

On our tenth anniversary in February 2009
On board the Sapphire Princess to Mexico another “renewal” on Valentine

Then… again…
I experienced a devastating loss in 2010.

I now cruise alone, with family or friends –now with my friend Margaret…
And we make it as good as it can get.

Frans had lived for years next to our travel agent Cindy…
And her husband a Princess fleet executive Omar Silingardi

It is comforting to know…
I have their distant attention as I go.

By now…one can guess…
My favorite cruise line is “Princess”

I enjoy my a status of “elite”…
On this fleet.

I will arrive in Sidney for the third time this Valentine
With great memories of “The two Valentines” that were mine

My hobby now is writing my Autobiography…
In Poetry…

In which all the memories of my past…
Will forever last.

Never time to be bored…
Maybe someday I will live fulltime on board…!
