Last Journey

LAST JOURNEY

The last trip we all have to endure,
And it is not one we choose from a brochure,

We do not buy a ticket for a flight or a cruise,
Nor do we need our luggage this trip to use.

How we leave no one can tell,
All we know that for some the departure does not feel well

Even in our wildest imagination,
We cannot see our final destination,

We are to believe we travel alone,
To meet someone on a throne,

And we hope not to wait,
Or enter thru the wrong gate.

And I am suppose to wait till some one will say,
Come on in Marie Jose.

I will then experience eternal bliss,
To full fill my final wish.

This final trip is suppose to be a happy one,
Because we meet everyone that has already gone

As a young child I was told,
How this last trip will unfold

And since no one has a better explanation
As to how we leave this creation

I will leave it up to a bigger power,
To arrange the place and hour.

So I can be at peace when the time comes to go,
While I want all of you to know.

I loved you with all my heart,
And I will see you again after you also depart
