Frans, my beloved husband never had enough time to spend…
On pursuing his given talent.

But his pastel gifts were often admired,
By others after he retired.

At retirement, we had this fantasy,
Of together, creating a legacy.

Documenting and illustrating our lives day to day,
And we were well on our way….

When we realized our goal could not be met…
Because of his approaching death.

I have compiled his finished illustrations in this book.
For his family to have a look.

And I trust they will be elated,
To see what he created.

For me it was a pleasure,
To create his “talent treasure”.
