Frustration

FRUSTRATION

At 6 pm I left the Ocean Club gate,
Because the Dell computer repairman left late.

A pleasant drive it was not,
As it is was extremely hot.

The drive to my second home in busy traffic home made me feel tired,
And upon arrival, I really felt wired.

I was not alone,
As crickets had settled in my home

And General Electric‘s scheduled work in the neighborhood
Had done me no good.

There was nothing warm to eat,
As the microwave did not heat.

I could not communicate as expected,
As the internet was not connected.

And what do you think I said,
About my home phone that was dead?

For the first time I wondered why I keep this second home
And deal with this all alone.

The house was cool and quiet when I went to sleep,
Not even the crickets made a peep.

They probably sensed it was their last night in this home
Because tomorrow I will eradicate them with foam.

But after I spent many hours on the phone,
Everything again worked in this home.

And the thought of selling this paradise,
I realized, was not very wise.
