Never before did I experience “Flag Day.”..
This way…

I was invited to attend…
A Stars and Stripes Concert that St. John Fisher Music Guild did present

In honor of America flag day…
the Country we are privileged to stay.

They sang the “Battle Cry of Freedom”
And then some…

The Star Spangled Banner”
In a respectful manner.

“America the Beautiful “ I know…
Since I came here 51 years ago.

Proud Strong and Free” by the baritone …
Scott Graff… who sang alone.

And many more Patriotic songs like “This is my song”
Gave us a sense that we belong…

As we left the church in my ears still echoed the tone…
“God Bless America”.. My home… Sweet Home.

Dinner with dear friends was the perfect way
To end this… For me… Unique Flag Day

Thankful for dear friends …and that I am a Citizen…
And thankful I can call myself an American.
