Life has taken a drastic turn…
And for the past I yearn.

The side effect of medication
Is definitely the causation.

My coordination is compromised
And my mind severely modified.

I forget many things
And often do not hear that the phone rings.

I have little energy
But it is not related to being elderly.

It is for sure the Tegretol
That causes this all.

Without relieving the pain
That originates in my brain.

But creates another horrible condition…
It gives me blurred vision.

What will the future be
For me

I can not tolerate the thought
Of remaining distraught

And live my life in a zombie state
Without being able to think straight

I pray the day will soon arrive
To again enjoy life.
