As I have said before
I grieve no more

I am able to realize that I can voice
That I have a choice

After my own brush with death
I am glad it can be said

That I have regained my strength
And have coped at length

And when after a loss you see no longer the light
Sit down and write.

Since I again see the sun
I will continue writing for fun
