A summer should not pass…
Without experiencing… an activity with class.

Listening to a concert in the park…
During sunset before it gets dark…

As a whole…
Is food for ones soul.

My friend Donna…for years has been on the stand…
With the in LBCC Wind Ensemble Band.

For this Summer Concert she invited me…
To see…

And experience first hand…
How she plays in the band.

I was impressed to say the least…
In what for my ears was a feast.

We also heard…
The LBCC Barber Quartet that opened the concert.

And after intermission
The LBCC Civil War Band gave their Patriotic rendition.

Siting on the grass, enjoying this years Summer Concert sound…
With beautiful Early California Architecture all around…

Made me realize that I was glad I went
To this relaxed classy event.
