In the summer of 1977…for a temporary stay,
We bought a condo at Aspen Village, after selling Montezuma Way.

A comfortable 3 bedroom place,
With all the needed space.

We lived there happily,
Close to the girls private school, South Hills Academy.

We started to build the home in Diamond Bar,
Which, on the hill, was not too far.

For the Holidays this year, we left California
And skied in Austria.

In July 1978, our new home was not ready yet…
And we vacationed in San Diego and on Lake Arrowhead.

Before school started, we moved into our Equestrian Estate
On top of a hill behind a private gate.

Proud as can be to own
This gorgeous home without a loan,

John was a true entrepreneur…
But always kept his family financially secure.

To sell the condo, we did not have to think twice
When the offer was higher then the purchase price.

Reason to cheer…
We made money on a place we lived in shorter than a year.
