CUSTOMER SERVICE

Do not buy a refrigerator at Sears…
Unless you do not mind shedding some tears.

I bought a Ken-More Elite refrigerator from Sears
I have had it for less then three years.

Since I was not familiar
I called last week for service to change the water filter.

I did repeat
To bring the filter for a Ken –More Elite.

I was told not to be concerned
The order and equipment was confirmed.

The ice maker that did not produce ice
Could be looked at for the same $59.00 service price.

A technician arrived “to get the number for the filter you Need”
And He told me I did not have a Ken-More Elite

Your refrigerator is a Samsung with a Ken-More name
But For Sears that is all the same!

I can order the filter and when it has arrived you need to call,
For another service call to install !

Then he said with a strait face
You’re ice maker will cost $75.00! to replace

These units show early wear and tear
And are not cheap to replace or repair.

I told him I had shut it off but this morning again I turned it on
There was ice before he was gone!

I told the technician also when he returns with the filter I will pay
Because their was no request to come without the filter today.

I called Sears to explain this is a customer calling that is distressed
About a gone wrong service request

All I could hear the man say….
“You have to pay”

I told him I respectfully decline
Because the service was out of line.

I suggested to replay on the phone the order I had placed..
And that he would be amazed..

To hear what I ordered was ignored as requested
And he would understand why the bill will be contested

The service man appeared frustrated as well
And while I was on the phone with Sears left madder then hell

An invoice he never presented
And to be told by Sears it would go in disputed billing I very much resented

My visitors observed it all …and where appalled…
About the hassle a Sears customer endures to get a filter installed

Customer service what is that?
But for Sears and A and E Factory Service something necessary to look at.
