Still in a dreamers zone,
I was awakened by the alarm on my phone.

The river cruise that started in Moscow
Has come to an end now.

We have sailed down the Volga river on the Tike Don
And to fast these days have gone

We crossed the Ladoga and Onega lakes in perfect weather
I had not expected this trip to be better,

In the morning we had time to say…
Goodbye…to the many people we had met on the way.

A three hour flight to Frankfurt Germany,
With a week layover to visit our Dutch family.

Ukraine and Russia have been a revelation,
As I had no specific expectation

The more I travel and see,
I know that in California I want to be

When we touched land,
Nico was there as planned.
