My life has been busy and fast
But now I have the time to scan the past.

I have embarked onto this wonderful activity…
That keeps me of the street till eternity.

All my pictures and mementoes into my computer I scan
As fast as I can…

Into my program day by day

It brings back memories I did not think I still had
All the laughs in good times …and tears when times were sad.

I enjoy to see my life pas by in slow motion
And recognize things for which previously I had no notion.

I am amazed
Of my past so fast paced.

When we are young we do not know
How fast our life will go.

I hope this project will be a legacy
And for everyone in it a worthwhile memory.

I can see…
The life of my husbands before me.

This project of their youth I can now unfold
From all the pictures and stories they told.

And all the years we had together
Could not have been better.

It is healing to reminisce
How good life was and still is.

It keeps the cobwebs in my brain away
As long as I scan every day.

But some seniors do not believe it is a thrill
Or do not have the computer skill

To think or write about their past
Knowing their life will not last.

But I would love the chance…
If I could only have a glance…

Into the life of my ancestors days
To compare them to our days.

So my document will be a contribution
To my families “day to day “evolution.
