By the time we got to Phoenix the family was waiting,
After they have been busy creating,

While slaving and sweating,
The perfect holiday setting.

It was a long ride,
Which we started with a bite.

At a busy breakfast place,
Next to general Patton’s, training base.

Then it was a long hop
Which we drove non stop.

To be welcomed with a lunch outside,
While the twins drove their buggy with pride.

The hospitality was great,
We talked drank and ate.

Delicious food,
That kept us in a good mood.

A walk in Scottsdale downtown,
And a hike in the desert up and down.

And we were seen
Celebrating Ashley turning nineteen.

It was a wonderful family visit,
In the Xmas spirit.

The time had been swell.
And to soon did we have To say farewell.
