Turning forty nine…
Seems not possible for a child of mine.

I remember it very clear…
I just passed that year.!

It is hard to believe
And a reason to grieve.

But instead of making that choice
I select to rejoice.

With more laughter then tears.

Still on stage
When you turn my age.!

Because many more birthdays I want to witness.
