Having a dog (or more) has become a fashion…
And many people have a passion…

To spoil their pooch
While they passionately smooch…

Face to snout
While home or out.

They are happy to mention …
That their dogs gets all their attention.

They no longer desire to debate…
It seems it is only their dogs to whom they relate.

If for a few days they have to say farewell…
Some select the best dog motel…

Where they are entertained and well fed
And sleep in a feather bed.

But what is most obscene…
They are driven to Mac Donald in a limousine.

And if the dog has such need…
For an extra fee a bedtime story they will read.

It is difficult to say
Why dogs are treated this way.

But it seems that humans instead of relating to one another

Maybe “a dog” was always meant
To be mans best friend
