A city… that is truly terrific.

With multiple sports resources…
And public golf courses.

A Rainbow Harbor with multi color light…
Day and night.

The queen Mary Ocean Ship,
Is permanently anchored in its own slip.

I see it every day…
From my condo across the bay.

A symphony of its own…
And for their performances well known.

Shore line village a tourist delight…
Where one can enjoy a terrific view and a delicious bite.

To multiple freeways-a short route..
To get in and out.

Multiple beautiful parks…
And often firework sparks.

Students of a big diversity…
Study at Long Beach University.

Restaurants for every ethnic group or taste,
To leisurely dine or swallow in haste.

Beaches that are pristine…
Because they are kept very clean.

A very scientific…
Aquarium of the pacific.

An annual crusade…
Promoting the gay parade.

We’re yearly they build bleacher seats,
To watch the Grand Prix races on the city streets.

No need to dress for a cold freeze…
Because year round average is eighty degrees.

Another City Crown…
Is the state of art Convention Center down town.

A ship terminal that constantly expands…
To keep up with the shipping demands.

A variety of pleasing tunes and sounds…
Of multiple ethnic backgrounds.

Many Churches with a different Steeple…
To accommodate the different believes of its people.

This pearl on the pacific…
Is…truly terrific!

I have lived here for 25 years,
And could not move from here without tears.
