Today, I scanned mementos of your many careers,
You had during the years,

Before we met in 1994,
And to rhyme about it I cannot ignore.

You would never boast,
But always strive to reach the uppermost.

Energy you never lacked,
To get up and act.

You always knew,
What to do.

You were not blind,
To the ideas that entered your mind.

You were always able to pay your bills,
Because you had, and used, many skills.

You were never afraid of extra work,
And never took for granted the earned extra perk.

You performed for a company as if it was your own,
And a new challenge you would not postpone.

You always proved the distance you could go,
And did not believe in status quo.

Frans, you inspired me when here,
And I draw strength from feeling that you are still near.
