I am not a copy cat
Many people strived for what I had.

I have my own style
Not everything for me is worthwhile.

My heart feels strange
When I make an unnecessary change.

Early on I was comfortable in my skin
And was taught not to sin.

My parents taught me to be proud
And reach for the brightest cloud,

Never do things that later make you ashamed
And except responsibility if you are rightfully blamed,

Learn to reject…
Anything that does not built respect.

A sports fan I never was
Just because…

I did not know any of the rules
And I did not grow up with sports teams at Dutch schools.

I was influenced most…by the two man I married
And still am…even after they are buried

They both showed respect and love
Treated me with kid glove.

I always try to be a role model
Never tried drugs or reached for a bottle.

I look back on a successful life
Being a proud Mother… Career Woman and loved Wife

My focus was being down to earth and realistic
With a touch of being idealistic.

I have reached for more then one star
I am thankful for being lucky so far

I will continue this trend
Till the end.
