Hospitality

HOSPITALITY

This poem comes a bit late,
I am sorry I let you wait.

To let you know I enjoyed being your guest,
Because you both did your best,
Hospitality
To make me feel at home
And not to feel alone.

Your home is conducive to feeling great,
With space to work on your hobbies from early morning till late.

I enjoyed the early morning walks
And our many catch up talks.
Hospitality
I can tell Fons is at peace
When he walks miles with ease

And it is no lie,
He looks like a real Tucker guy.

I sense on Twente you are both sold,
And my wish is for both of you to stay here until you are very old

Fons and Jose
In “Twent,s” I like to say

Something that is often said
Komt bij ons mar wer ophal’n or something like that.

So if you like to get away
I know places in California to stay

In the Desert or at sea,
You can stay with me.
