With anticipation-
I looked forward meeting people from a different nation.

When in their van,
Jan and August brought their friends from Japan.

It worked out well,
Due to lack of space their friends stayed in a nearby hotel.

But the rest of the time we were together
During these few days with beautiful weather.

The guest from Japan really had fun
Playing a round of the golf in the sun.

They ignored my sputter
And insisted to pay for using my clubs and putter.

August deserved to be crowned,
For chauffeuring us all days around,

To beautiful places,
Were Indians had left their traces .

Everyone was in a good mood ,
We shared laughter, and good food.

And we will always remember the gig
About the picture in front of Jackalope’s pig.

Today they all left at noon-
It was to soon.

I appreciate Jan leaving her phone ,
So I can stay connected while being here alone.

And I hope with August and Jan,
To visit Mitchiko and Hiro someday in Japan.
