Today, I decided to write my autobiography…
In rhyming poetry.

It will be a project of years…
To write about my laughter and tears.

But because of all the hours I have already spent
I have made a big dent.

An autobiography in rhyme I have not seen before
But I am dedicated to finish this chore

So my family has a chance to be seeing…
Into the core of my being

It is a hobby that fills my days
Without interruptions or delays.

It gives me time to reflect…
On memories and things I did collect.

I like to leave this written word
That starts at my birth,

And covers day to day
Of what I have to say.

It is mine… and only mine… interpretation
And personal summation

Of how I experienced being on earth
Hoping for others it will have some worth.

I do not embellish
And at times you might call me hellish

But I do not grind an ax
My writings are based on true feelings -and facts .
