On Sunday mornings, it was an attraction
To browse the L.A. times real estate section.

One Sunday we read:
New Condos for sale at Lake Arrowhead.

Frans had sold his Woodland Hills home to move in with me.
We desired a place to decorate as “we”.

With Colette, we drove to the Mountain Lake that day
And had lunch at a favorite restaurant in Blue Jay.

The Condos appealed to us …
Long we did not have to discuss…

We made an offer that day…
Two bedrooms and a view of a beautiful Bay.

Willing to splurge…
Fulfilling our “second in life nesting urge”.

As we expected…
Our offer was accepted.

We were able to select the finishing touches and decor
And ordered a Brazilian wood floating floor.

Blending our taste in decorating was fun
And we were very pleased how it looked when we were done.

It was a bit sad,
When time to spend here, we no longer had.

A duty from Holland called for me,
And I promised my only sister that her care I would oversee.

We made a decision that was bold
And bought the family home in Holland after this home was sold.
