Saturday after my water aerobics class
I had the car filled with gas,

To drive the 120 mile to Long Beach
Which took 2.5 hours to reach.

Planned to meet Donna for tea…
But she brought dinner for her and me!

Then we enjoyed the view
While sharing what was new.

Today I drove the busy Pacific Coast Highway
To Laguna for lunch and a play.

Donna got there long before me
She drove the 405 and the 73.

We lunched at the Montage Resort which is elegant and chic…
Where the food an view are very unique.

Then the “Act 3” Comedy
Was worthwhile to see!

A story about secrets of a husband and wife…
And the happy hilarious ending in their life.

After the play
We each went out own way.

I drove two hours back to the Desert and was happy to see…
Colette and her family.

After dinner and wine
I was home again and in bed at nine
