That keeps my sleep at bay.

My heart is nervously racing
Afraid of another sleepiness night I am facing.

My lower jaw hurts…
With intermittent dull spurts

I am distraught
About the thought

That the facial pain condition
Is no longer in remission.

This unpredictability
Disturbs my tranquility.

I have no choice but to endure
This pain for which there is no cure.

And so another night goes by
Wondering why

If this misery will last
Till the night has passed.

Knowing that tomorrow I will not feel my best
Due to another night without rest.
