I have a desire to write about…
That face to face talk seems out.

It is an odd sensation
To have a different human relation.

People no longer desire or expect
The old fashioned way to connect.

They now respond to a bleep
While awake or…asleep

And answer very efficiently
Instantly.

But no dialog or wasting a word
In response to what they just read or heard

The Lack of exchanging words or having discussions
Leaves a lot of questions.

I want to shout!!!
Why are animated lively talks out???

No more chances or a challenge to dispute
Because everyone seems mute.

With one strike
They will “like”

It drives me mad
To get that as a response to anything …good or bad

The spoken word could become distinct
As long as we are linked,

Or respond to give written advice
To a beeping device.

But at any rate
I miss…and will always prefer…an old fashioned oral exchange or debate
