It happened early this morning…
Without a warning…

A computer file disappeared…
Something I always feared.

It feels like I lost my brain
What a pain!

This never happened before
But I knew who to call for!

I expressed my complaint
To Daphne, who has patience as a Saint.

Her instructions I followed precise
But we could not fix this device.

Everything gone…but I know
My last back up was four days ago.

But until I am back in Long Beach
My files are not within reach.

At once I realize
That my computer …. I idealize

For, without my computer my live would drastically change
And become very strange….

It’s fatal attraction…
No longer being able to live without this contraption.
