At times it is nice to be alone…
And listen to country classics at home

To listen to all and each word…
That often sound absurd

It’s about real life stories…
But with more sadness then glories

They sing…
About loosing everything

They croon…
In a haunting tune

About leaving…
and cheating

They belt out cries…
about there life of lies

And how it can worsen…
falling in love with the wrong person

A lot of Haziness…
About craziness

But from time to time it helps my mind …
To unwind

Then when I have heard enough…
Of this stuff

I forget…
What they said

And listen only to the melody…
cause they are soothing to me

Country melodies as a whole…
Touch my soul

So now and then …
I listen to them again and again.
