THE OCEAN
From my condo I see the Pacific Ocean,
Being constant in motion.
All around,
I hear a soothing sound.
At night I do not need to count sheep,
It is the sound of the waves that put me to sleep.
I have walked along the ocean for twenty five years,
Sharing my laughter and tears.
The waves roll in to cheer,
And roll back with my tear.
It has a soothing power,
At any given hour.
I pretend,
The ocean is my friend.
I share my heart and soul,
On my seaside stroll.
By the time I come home I have a clue,
As to what to do
This advice from the sea,
Is always free.
I am happy to live in this seaside tower,
And draw strength from the ocean power.
